Senegal managed to hold Tunisia to a 2-2 draw after going behind to an early goal by Issam Jemaa. However two goals on either side of the half by Moustafa Sall and Diomansy Kamara saw them take a 2-1 lead and Henryk Kasperczak's side looked set for a victory in their opening match of the campaign.

But with just eight minutes remaining, Mejdi Traoui hit an unstoppable drive from 25 yards out to snatch a point for his side. Kasperczak will be disappointed with the result after his team looked to have done enough to register a deserved win but will be hoping that his players will manage to put up a better performance against Angola on Sunday.

Meanwhile Angola coach Luís Oliveira Gonçalves will be delighted with the level of performance shown by his side in the 1-1 draw against South Africa and will be hoping to build on the result and upset the odds by qualifying from the group to the quarter finals.

Angola took the lead midway through the first half with Manchester United bound striker, Manucho scoring a low header in the 29th minute. With time running out, Angola looked on course for a shock victory but South Africa equalized through a superb strike by Elrio van Heerden.

Angola finished third in the group stage in the 2006 edition of the tournament and Gonçalves will be hoping to better the performance this time around.
