Scotland v Italy LiveItaly play Scotland in a what is a must win game for the Azzurri in order to keep their Euro 2008 qualification hopes alive.
Italy need to avoid defeat against Scotland and win their next match against Faroe Islands if they are to qualify for the Euro 2008 championship next year. However a defeat to Scotland would mean elimination from the competition with France and Scotland going through.
However coach Roberto Donadoni will be confident of getting the required result with Italy having chalked up a convincing 2-0 victory over Scotland in the first leg of the fixture back in March. Donadoni has made a single change to his squad that had defeated Ukraine and Georgia last month, leaving out Alessandro Del Piero in favor of Juventus forward Raffaele Palladino.
Filippo Inzaghi continues to remain out in cold, in spite of inspiring AC Milan to a 3-0 victory in their Champions League clash this week. Inzaghi is Italy's top scorer in the qualifying campaign with three goals, while Luca Toni has had an impressive start in the Bundesliga, scoring 9 goals in 11 matches for Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile Scotland boss Alex McLeish will be looking to take Scotland into its first major competition in recent years by beating Italy on Saturday. Having already completed the double over France in the campaign, McLeish will be looking to add Italy to the scalp.
McLeish has recalled Darren Fletcher back into the squad after the midfielder sat out his suspension while Kenny Miller and Garry O'Connor both found places in the 25-man squad in spite of suffering from hamstring injuries.
