Czech Republic will be hoping to move level on points with Poland in the second qualification spot when they visit bottom placed San Marino in their World Cup qualification campaign on Wednesday. Catch all the live world cup qualifiers here on Live Sport Network.

 

 

A disappointing qualifying campaign so far has seen Czech collect just four points from their first three games and though they are three points behind second placed Poland, Petr Rada's side do have a game in hand and could go second if they manage to beat San Marino by more than two goals.

However Czech side will be without their star keeper with Petr Cech out with a muscle injury in his right leg. Captain Tomas Rosicky continues to remain on the sidelines with an injury after the Arsenal midfielder underwent a surgery for his knee injury.

 

 

Hertha Berlin's Jaroslav Drobny is expected to replace Cech in goal while Reading's Marek Matejovsky was dropped from the 18-man squad. Slavia Prague striker Tomas Necid has been called up to the national squad for the first time after impressing Rada with consistent performances that has seen him lead the Czech league scoring charts with nine goals so far this season.

San Marino coach Giampaolo Mazza will be hoping to avoid another rout after his team suffered a 4-0 thrashing against Northern Ireland in their last match. San Marino sit at the bottom of the group table and are yet to register a point, conceding nine goals and scoring just one from their three games played so far.
