San Marino will want to register their first points of the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign as they welcome Slovakia to the Olimpico stadium in Serravalle on November 21. San Marino have bottomed out in Group D and while they have no chance of climbing up on the table, they have a chance to get some points against their name.

San Marino coach Giampaolo Mazza's position is threatened following his team's miserable performance in the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign. However he might still make it should his side perform decently in their last game.

Slovakia will also be hoping to end their campaign on a high note following their 3-1 loss to neighbors Czech Republic the last time around. . Goals from Zdeněk Grygera, Marek Kulič and Tomáš Rosický nullified the own goal by Michal Kadlec in that game.

Slovakia coach Ján Kocian has called up Juraj Halenár for the San Marino clash following his fine performances with FC Artmedia Petržalka. AC Sparta Praha midfielder Karol Kisel has also been called up after having scored a brace in his side's UEFA Cup win against Toulouse FC.
