Rosenborg will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games when they face off against Chelsea in their next Champions League live match on Wednesday.

The Norwegian club is currently sitting second in the group table with 7 points from 4 games played and stand a great chance of making it to the knockout stages if they manage to win any one of their remaining two matches. Rosenborg registered their first back to back victories in the group stage in over an year when they won the double rubber against Valencia with convincing margins.

The club will be confident going into the match against Chelsea after having held them to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, inadvertently triggering events that led to the sacking of Jose Mourinho. However the Blues have looked confident under Avram Grant, beating Valencia away and Schalke at home before being held to a 0-0 draw in Germany.

Chelsea need just a point to assure their place in the next stage provided Schalke fail to win against Valencia and while Grant will be gunning for a victory, Chelsea's record in Norway is not good. In three matches played so far, Chelsea have suffered two defeats against Tromso and Viking FK with the only victory coming against Valerenga IF back in 1998-99 season.

With the team playing Valencia in their final group match, Grant will be hoping to clinch qualification on Tuesday with a convincing victory over Rosenborg.
