Real Zaragoza v Valencia LiveValencia will be searching for their first win in five matches when they visit Real Zaragoza in their next La Liga match on Saturday.
Three defeats in last four matches has seen Valencia slip down to 7th in the league table with the club struggling to hit the back of the net. New manager Ronald Koeman has had a poor start to his career at Valencia with the club yet to score a goal in their last four matches and conceding 7 goals in the process. ![]() Valencia suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Barcelona in their last match with Samuel Eto'o announcing his return from injury with a brace in the first half while Eidur Gudjohnsen added the third midway through the second half.
However Koeman will be optimistic of getting the required result against a Zaragoza team that has failed to win a match in their last seven outings. Valencia will continue to be without star striker David Villa who is suffering from a hamstring injury while Ruben Baraja remains a doubt.
Meanwhile Zaragoza coach Víctor Fernández will be hoping for a quick return to form by his team if the club is to achieve pre season ambitions of European football next season. Real Zaragoza is currently 10th in the league table with 20 points from 16 games.
But more worryingly, the club is yet to register a win in their last six games and only managed a frustrating 1-1 draw against Deportivo LaCoruna last weekend. Valencia had sneaked in a 1-0 victory in this fixture last season and while Koeman will be delighted with a similar result, a draw is on cards with both the teams struggling in the league.
