Real Madrid overcame their Champions League reversal to Liverpool in great fashion by notching up their tenth straight La Liga victory last Saturday when they defeated Espanyol away from home by 2-0. They won 4-3 with a last minute winner but at one stage of the match they were actually 2-0 down. After bringing the score back to 2-2 they then let in another and most people would have said that was the end of the match as far as Atletico were concerned. As we all know now, they had other ideas though and two goals in the last ten minutes completely turned the tie on its head.
