After last weekend’s tempestuous local derby against Atletico Madrid, Real are back at the Bernabeu for the visit of Athletic Bilbao this coming Sunday. The win means Real are now fifth in the league with sixteen points; the same tally as rivals Barcelona, as well as remaining unbeaten since the very first game of the season when they went down 2-1 away to Deportivo. Without any major injury worries, Real head in to the weekends game against Bilbao full of confidence and will be hoping to improve their overall league position.

Athletico Bilbao went down 1-0 at home to Barcelona last weekend; a result that leaves them in seventeenth position on five points. A trip to the capital and a date with Real is the last thing they need right now, especially as they have now gone four games without a win.
