Coach Ernesto Valverde will be hoping that his side have put behind a disappointing set of results that has seen the club lose six of their last eight matches.

Espanyol secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Valencia last weekend with Luis Garcia scoring both the goals on either side of the half time whistle. The win lifted the club to fifth in the league, just two points behind Atletico Madrid and fans will be optimistic that their club will qualify for Europe next season.
