Scottish champions Rangers take on Paris Saint Germain with both the clubs looking to forward to some good pre-season workout in their Emirates Cup campaign starting on Saturday. Catch up with all the live pre-season football by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

This will be the first time that a Scottish club has taken part in the tournament and manager Walter Smith will be hoping to put a strong showing in the competition before deciding on whether his side needs any new faces before the start of the new season.

Rangers are yet to make any changes to their squad from last season though captain Barry Ferguson was sold to Birmingham City in a deal reported to be worth around £1.25 million. With arch rivals Celtic making a host of changes starting with their manager, pressure will be high on Smith to once again deliver the goods and successfully defend the league title this season.

PSG will be making their second appearance at the Emirates Cup after having taken part in the inaugural edition in 2007. The French club put up a good showing in that competition, finishing second in the table and notching up a shock win over Valencia.

Coach Antoine Kombouare will be hoping for a similar performance this time around as he looks to get his side fit in time for the new season with the club looking to build on their 6th placed finish from the last season.

PSG next play Spanish club Atletico Madrid in their final match of the competition two days later while Rangers take on hosts Arsenal.
