The Gers took all three points against Hamilton Academical on Saturday thanks to a one goal from Edu, which gave them a 1-0 win. Manager Walter Smith will be hoping his side can continue in the same vein for the rest of the campaign. Smith will be keen to seal the SPL as quickly as possible and will hope hi side do not falter during the final few games.

Kirk Broadfoot is still struggling with a hamstring strain and will need to pass a late fitness test before this game. Madjid Bougherra also misses out with a hamstring tear, but could make a comeback in the game against Dundee United next week.

Meanwhile Aberdeen face Kilmarnock before taking on Rangers on Wednesday. Steven MacLean, who is suspended for that game will be back for this one. However the Dons will be without Gary McDonald, Peter Pawlett and Andrew Considine for this one.
