Portugal play Finland in their final Euro 2008 qualifier. They know that a win will see them secure a ticket to the Euro 2008 finals. Portugal who beat Azerbaijan 1-0 thanks to Hugo Almeida's goal need just one point to go through and in front of a vociferous home crowd in Porto, they start with a slight advantage.

Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is aware of the great expectations from him and he has managed the national team very well in their campaign. Alexei Eremenko Jr is out of the side after he sustained a broken jaw following an assault in Moscow.
