Tottenham Hotspur face a tough trip to Portsmouth in their next Premiership game as they continue to search for their first league win of the season. Watch all the live Premiership games here on Live Sport Network.

Tottenham find themselves rooted at the foot of the table with just two points from five matches and any hopes of Champions League football are all but over. Spurs were held to a 0-0 draw by Wigan Athletic last weekend and in fact could have lost the match had Wigan taken their chances.

 

 

The winless streak has increased pressure on Tottenham manager Juande Ramos with reports suggesting that former Sevilla manager is feeling home sick and wants to return back to Spain. However Ramos was quick to squash the rumors, stating that he is delighted to be in charge of the club and is trying hard to get the season back on track.

Ramos has blamed the lack of squad gelling following the influx of six new players in the summer to replace key squad players who left the club. The Spanish manager admitted that his side needs more games before they start to click together, adding that it might take as many as 10 matches to find their form.

 

 

Portsmouth will be happy with the lack of morale in the opposition camp and manager Harry Redknapp will be hoping to take advantage of the situation as he looks to help his side bounce back following the 6-0 drubbing by Manchester City.

Pompey were completely outplayed in the match and could have lost the game by a bigger margin had City been more clinical in front of the goal. Portsmouth have not tasted victory against Tottenham in their last seven meetings, with the London club doing the double last season.
