Portsmouth will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester City and put their European challenge back on track when they take on Blackburn Rovers in their next Premiership encounter on Sunday. Catch all the live Premiership action on Live Sport Network.

An unexpected 3-1 defeat to City saw Pompey drop out of the UEFA Cup spots and with just three games left in the season, manager Harry Redknapp will be hopeful that his side can pick up maximum points possible and finish the season in the top six.

Goals from Darius Vassell and Martin Petrov in the space of two minutes put City in a 2-0 lead early in the game before John Utaka pulled one back for Pompey. However Portsmouth's hopes of coming back into the game received a big blow when they were reduced to 10 men after Hermann Hreidarsson received his marching orders before half time and Benjani assured the hosts of all three points by scoring the third goal 16 minutes from full time.

Aston Villa's subsequent win against Birmingham City meant that Portsmouth dropped down to seventh in the league table, one point behind Villa with three games to go.

Meanwhile with European hopes all but over, Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes will be hopeful that his side will finish the season in the strongest possible manner. Blackburn play Derby County and Birmingham in their next two matches and Hughes will be looking for victories in all three matches starting with Portsmouth this Saturday.
