Poland coach Franciszek Smuda will be looking to try out some new players when he takes on Finland in a friendly match on Saturday. Catch all the live football feeds from that game by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

A disappointing World Cup qualification campaign saw Poland finish fifth in their group table with just San Marino below them. The performance led to the sacking of Leo Beenhakker and though Stefan Majewski was appointed as an interim manager, he did not do enough to impress the Polish FA leading to the appointment of Smuda as the new coach.

With Poland already booking a place in the Euro 2012 as the co-hosts, Smuda will be aware that his side will be going into the competition with a severe handicap of not having played much competitive football. Though the tournament is still far away, Smuda will be looking to infuse some fresh blood into the national team and has called up four new players in Adam Matuszczyk, Przemyslaw Tyton, Adrian Mierzejewski, Mateusz Cetnarski and Artur Sobiech for the friendlies.

While Tomasz Kuszczak and Lukasz Fabianski are expected to fight for the starting spot in the team, Smuda has announced that he will also be giving a chance for Artur Boruc to impress and claim the goalkeeping spot.
