Poland will be looking for all three points when they meet Belgium in their next qualifier match which could see hem book a place in next year's Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland.

Poland are currently sitting top of Group A with 24 points from 12 games and will clinch the qualification spot if they manage to collect two points from their remaining two matches against Belgium and Serbia. Coach Leo Beenhakker will be hoping that his team repeats the 1-0 victory that Poland had achieved against Belgium when the two teams met back in November last year.

Wisła Kraków's Marcin Baszczyński has found a place in national squad for the first time in more than 17 months with Beenhakker looking for experience in his line up to take the team across the final hurdle. Borussia Dortmund's Jakub Błaszczykowski and Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak have also been included after missing out against Kazakhstan last month due to injury. However Poland will be without Dariusz Dudka who has broken his ankle in Wisła Kraków's clash against Zagłębie Sosnowiec.

Meanwhile Belgium coach René Vandereycken will be looking to end the qualifiers on a high with the team having no chance of qualifying for the tournament. Belgium are currently positioned 5th in the group table with 15 points from 12 matches and will be playing the remaining two matches against Poland and Azerbaijan for pride.

Lokeren OV midfielder Killian Overmeire has been called up to the national squad for the first time in his career after impressing in the European Under-21 Championship in June. Lens striker Luigi Pieroni and FC Twente striker Stijn Huysegems also find places in the squad after a long period of time while Goalkeeper Logan Bailly and defenders Jelle Van Damme and Gill Swerts have been dropped.
