Aberdeen are no strangers to European competition. This is actually the clubs 100^th appearance in the UEFA Cup. However, history is stacked against them. No Scottish club has ever won a game in the competition in Greece. Aberdeen have never faced a Greek side before. They also have not won in the UEFA Cup away from home since the 2000/01 season. These of course are only statistics and Aberdeen sit mid table at home in the SPL. Will their visit to Greece be a shock awakening for the travelers or will they be able to raise their game and take an early lead in the group stage?.
