The Catalan giants held on to their place at the top of the league table with a brilliant display against Zaragoza last weekend. Seydou Keita scored a hat trick while Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace and Lionel Messi added another as Barca romped home to a 6-1 win at Camp Nou.

Madrid's 0-0 draw against Sporting Gijon last weekend meant that Barca are now three points clear at the top of the table. With Manuel Pellegrini's side expected to face a stern test at home to Getafe, Barcelona will be looking to take advantage of any slip ups and further extend the lead at the top of the table.

However they face a tricky test against an Osasuna side that had secured a shock win at Camp Nou last season. Walter Pandiani was on target for Osasuna who also put up a brave fight in the return leg only to lose out 3-2 after Barcelona scored two goals in the final 10 minutes.

Osasuna have had a decent start to the new season and currently sit 10th in the league table with 11 points from first eight games. The Rojillos were unlucky to return with just one point from their match against Racing Santander last weekend.

Pandiani's 51st minute goal looked to have won the game for Jose Antonio Camacho but Manuel Arana grabbed the equalizer in the fifth minute of injury time to snatch a point for his side.
