Northern Ireland v Sweden LiveNorthern Ireland and Denmark clash in a crucial Euro 2008 qualifier on November 17 with the winner having an outside chance of going through should other Group F results go their way.
Both teams are tied on 17 points and will be looking to win the game, with a defeat effecting ending any hopes of making it to next year's Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland. With Sweden needing just a single point from their two games, the race is on between Spain, Denmark and Northern Ireland to grab the second qualification place with Spain in the drivers seat after collecting 22 points from their 10 games and need just two more to clinch qualification.
Denmark coach Morten Olsen has recalled Martin Jørgensen and Per Krøldrup of Fiorentina as he looks to end the campaign with victories against Northern Ireland and Iceland. Olsen has named just 20 members in his squad and will add three more on Friday, a day before the clash against Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile Northern Ireland have impressed throughout the qualification campaign and will be looking to remain in the hunt for as long as possible. Nigel Worthington has called up Scunthorpe United striker Martin Paterson who impressed the Northern Ireland manager by scoring six goals in 11 games so far.
Warren Feeney and Chris Baird are also back into the squad after serving out their suspensions against Sweden last month. Kyle Lafferty will not be able to play against Denmark after he was suspended in the match against Sweden though he has been included in the squad.
