After a morale boosting 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, Newcastle welcome Bolton to St James' Park this Saturday for their next game. Watch all the live Premier League action here on Live Sport Network.

Obafemi Martins put the Magpies ahead against defending champions Manchester United to silence fans at Old Trafford. However United hit right back through Darren Fletcher. Although both sides had decent chances thereafter there were no more goals.

 

 

Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan would have been relieved to come away with a point in what was a tough starter for his team. Keegan has tied up Michael Owen at Newcastle in a lucrative deal and has also brought Deportivo La Coruna defender Fabricio Coloccini to the club. Danny Guthrie and Jonas Gutierrez are the other new names at the club.

Bolton also began their Premiership campaign on a high beating Stoke City 3-1. New signing Johan Elmander scored on his debut. Gretar Steinsson and Kevin Davies were the other goal scorers.

 

 

Stoke had a consolation goal in the form of Ricardo Fuller's header. Bolton boss Gary Megson will be delighted with the positive start made by the Trotters and will hope they can build on it for the rest of the season.

Megson's other new signings at the club include Danny Shittu, Dutch winger Mustapha Riga and England under-21 international Fabrice Muamba.
