The Gunners seem to have hit form at the right moment with two wins in their last two matches coupled with a drop in form for Aston Villa lifting the Gunners back into the top four of the league table. Newcastle United on the other hand are going through yet another blip in form that has seen them collect just one point from their last three matches and find themselves out of the drop zone only due to their superior goal difference.

While the Magpies have lost their last three meetings against Arsenal by a margin of three goals, fans will be hopeful that their side will manage to get something out of the game with Arsenal not having beaten Newcastle in their last three visits to St James Park.
