Henry, who spent some of the best years of his career at Arsenal, recently signed for the Red Bulls from Spanish giants Barcelona. He is expected to make his debut for the Bulls against Spurs on Thursday.

Spurs have already played one pre-season game in North America. Harry Redknapp’s men drew 0-0 with the San Jose Earthquakes at the Buck Shaw Stadium in that fixture. Robbie Keane had one goal disallowed for offside and also missed another easy chance as Tottenham failed to break down their MLS opponents.

Spurs only managed to have four shots on goal against San Jose and looked rusty following their long flight across the Atlantic. With the Champions League qualifiers near, Redknapp will be hoping that some of his players can hit top form in these friendlies.
