The Netherlands welcome Paraguay to the PSV Stadium in Eindhoven for a friendly game as preparations for the upcoming world cup in South Africa gather pace. Watch all the live soccer feeds from that game by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Netherlands have qualified for the world cup in a spectacular manner. In fact they were one of the first teams from Europe to book their place in the finals and did so with two games left in their qualification schedule.

Since then, Holland coach Bert van Marwijk has tried different combinations to test out which ones can serve him best in South Africa. Last Saturday, Holland were held to a 0-0 draw by Italy in a friendly game.

The main talking point of the game was the serious ankle injury suffered by star striker Robin Van Persie, which could see him out for months and seriously hamper his chances of making it to South Africa. Furthermore winger Arjen Robben is also out with a knee injury and is expected to be fit only in late December.

Meanwhile Paraguay have had a tough time since qualifying for the world cup. They have lost friendly games to Chile and then to Qatar. The last loss came on Saturday against Qatar with Brazil-born Fabio Cesar Montesin netting a brace to give the latter a 2-0 win.

There was some bad news for Paraguay ahead of this game after it emerged that defender Marcos Caceres had damaged his knee ligaments and was expected to be out for at least four months.
