The Rossoneri moved two places up the league table with a narrow 2-1 win over Chievo Verona in their last match on Sunday to register their third straight win in all competitions. For a long time it looked as if Milan will be returning empty handed after Chievo took an early lead through Giampiero Pinzi. However Alessandro Nesta equalized for the visitors in the 81st minute before heading home a dramatic winner late in injury time.

The win sees Milan climb to sixth in the league table and manager Leonardo will be confident that his side can maintain their excellent recent form and get their title challenge back on track.

However they face a tough task against a Napoli team that is high on confidence after registering their third win in four matches last weekend. Napoli pulled off a shock win away to Fiorentina on Sunday with Cristian Maggio scoring the winner just two minutes before the full time whistle.

Coach Walter Mazzarri will be delighted with his side's recent form following a poor start to the season that had seen Napoli win just one of their first five matches. After finishing 12th in the league last season, Mazzarri will be hopeful that his side will be able to maintain their recent form as long as possible as he attempts to help his club finish inside the top half of the league table.
