NEC drew 1-1 with NAC Breda at the weekend. Lasse Schöne fired NEC into a lead in the 28^th minute, but NAC recovered to equalise through Edwin de Graaf. NEC have only won once at home in five European ties- against Dinamo Bucharest in the first round.

Tottenham Hotspur moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Premiership on Sunday. Roman Pavlyuchenko, who will miss this game as he is cup tied, scored the only goal of the match. Spurs produced an impressive display on Matchday 2 to rout Dinamo 4-0 at home, with Darren Bent grabbing a hat trick. Tottenham have played six games in the Netherlands, winning four and drawing two. Aaron Lennon had a wonderful game against Blackburn, causing them all kinds of problems on the right hand side. A win for Spurs will see them take a giant step towards qualification.
