Pascal Berenguer’s goal ended up being nothing but consolation for Nancy after goals from Karim Benzema and Fred had seen Lyon establish a 2-0 lead. Nancy’s away form in France has seen them lose to Lyon and Nice, draw with Auxerre and beat Grenoble in the Coupe de la Ligue.
