The Blues are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table and have won all of their three matches away from Stamford Bridge so far this season. Luiz Felipe Scolari's side have won their last three matches and will be confident of registering their fourth straight victory against Middlesbrough on Saturday even though they could miss the services of captain John Terry who is out injured with a back strain.

Middlesbrough will have to be at their best against Chelsea if they are to have any hopes of getting something out of the game on Saturday. Gareth Southgate will be hopeful that his side can put up a good fight with his main concern on his attack with Boro managing to score just seven goals in their seven league matches so far and they take on a Chelsea side that has conceded just once in their last five matches.

 

 

Middlesbrough secured their first away win of the season in their last match thanks to a late goal by Jeremie Aliadiere against Wigan Athletic. Boro were on the back foot for most of the match but hung on to a clean sheet before scoring the winner a minute before full time.

Boro have lost their last three league meetings against Chelsea without scoring a goal but Southgate will be hoping to seek inspiration from their 2-1 win over the Blues two seasons ago.
