Middlesbrough will be searching for a third successive victory when they take on West Ham United in their next English Premier League live match at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday.

Boro followed up their shock win over Arsenal with a professional display in the 1-0 victory over Derby County last weekend. Sanli Tuncay continued his impressive attacking form with the only goal of the match in the first half, and thereby lifting the club out of the relegation zone to 14th in the league table.

Boro fans will now be hopeful that their team continues to put up good performances throughout the remainder of the season and moves as far away from the relegation zone as possible. Andrew Taylor and Brad Jones should be available for selection after recovering from ankle and thigh injuries respectively though Gareth Southgate is expected field the same starting line up against West Ham.

However they face a tough task against a West Ham team that is still smarting under two successive defeats to Everton in four days. The Hammers were dumped out of the Carling Cup after losing out 2-1 to the Toffees who followed up with a clinical performance in their 2-0 victory in the league match last Saturday.

Just two victories in last five matches has seen West Ham slip to 11th in the league table and manager Alan Curbishley will be hoping for a quick return to form ahead of the crucial Christmas period.

The Hammers are scheduled to play Reading, Manchester United and Arsenal after their clash against Middlesbrough and with the club favorites to lose against the league leaders, Curbishley will be looking to collect maximum points against Boro and Reading.
