Liverpool fans will be hoping for a repeat of last season's performance by their team when they take on Marseille in their first Champions League group stage match on Tuesday. Needing a win to progress to the knockout stage, Liverpool had thrashed Marseille 4-0 in their final group match to qualify ahead of the French club. It was Marseille's biggest defeat at home in the European competition and will now be looking to avenge the defeat by collecting three vital points against a side that is expected to qualify out of the group.
