Manchester United will be confident of registering their third straight league win but will have to guard against complacency when they welcome high flying West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. Watch all the live Premiership action here on Live Sport Network

 

 

The defending champions are slowing returning back to form and have won their last two matches against Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers. Wes Brown and Wayne Rooney were on target for United in their last match against Blackburn before the international break and manager Alex Ferguson will be expecting his side to build on their good form to close down the gap at the top of the league table.

Rooney will be the key man for United with the England striker in a brilliant form and has scored in his last three matches for United apart from a brace in England's 5-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday. Rooney is expected to start up front along with Dimitar Berbatov who is still searching for his first league goal for United after breaking his duck with a brace against Aalborg BK in the Champions League.

 

 

Meanwhile West Bromwich Albion will be high on confidence before their trip to Old Trafford with Tony Mowbray hitting a rich vein of form. The Baggies have won three of their last four matches and find themselves ninth in the league table, just one point behind Manchester United.

United completed a double over West Brom the last time the two teams met in the league back in 2005-06 season but Mowbray will be hoping to repeat West Brom's performance during their 1-1 draw at Old Trafford back in May 2005.
