Manchester United will be looking to move to the top of the league table for at least three days when they welcome Hull City in the only Premier League game to be played on Saturday. The match was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday but had to be postponed due to United’s Carling Cup clash against Manchester City. However with both the teams knocked out of the FA Cup, the defending champions rearranged their match to be played this weekend.

Manager Alex Ferguson will be hopeful that his side can maintain their recent good form that has seen the club win three of their last four matches. However, their loss to neighbors Manchester City in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final will have hurt the boss, who will be hoping for a fitting response from his players. For this game, Dimitar Berbatov is a doubtful starter with a dead leg, but Ferguson has expressed relief that his injury is not as worse as was previously thought.

Meanwhile Hull City will be hoping to take advantage of a weak defence at Old Trafford and secure at least one point. The Tigers have recovered from a nasty start to the season, but are still some way away from total safety and they are on the 18^th spot with 19 points from 21 games played so far.

Boss Phil Brown has bolstered his strike department with the addition of Amr Zaki who could make his Hull debut in this game. However Daniel Cosuin misses out as he is away at the African Nations Cup, while Jimmy Bullard is sidelined with a knee injury.
