Manchester United, the winner of last season's Champions League, will take on UEFA Cup winners Zenit St Petersburg at the Stade Louis II in Monaco for this year's UEFA Super Cup. Watch all the live streaming soccer here on Live Sport Network.

Manchester United have had a decent start in their Premiership campaign registering a draw and a win in their first two games. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be counting on his side's experience to take them through in this game.

 

 

The United boss also has the chance to create a record as the first coach to have won the competition three times if his side does go on to clinch the Super Cup.

There was heartening news for Man United on the injury front as midfielder Owen Hargreaves returned to first-team training last week after a knee injury. Michael Carrick is not expected to be fit for this one, but Carlos Tevez is back as is Anderson, who played in the Olympics.

Meanwhile Zenit coach Dick Advocaat will be hoping his side shows the same zeal that won them the UEFA Cup in this game. The former Dutch manager feels this outing will do his side a world of good as they embark on what will be their first ever UEFA Champions League campaign.

 

 

Zenit are currently sixth in their Premier-Liga campaign and Advocaat feel going into Europe will be a welcome break for them. The club is mulling a sale of Russian midfielder Andrei Arshavin, but the Tottenham deal appears to have hit some roadblocks.

Arshavin was out of the squad which defeated FC Krylya Sovetov Samara last weekend indicating his transfer is almost complete.
