Arsenal have stuttered badly in recent games and just seven points from their last five matches has seen the club slip down to fourth in the league table, nine points behind league leaders Chelsea.

It was a disappointing defeat for Arsene Wenger with critics quick to point out that the Gunners are unable to adjust their game if the opposition manage to stifle their short passing move.

 

 

Wenger will be hoping to capitalize on Manchester City's poor form and register a morale boosting victory on Saturday. Inconsistent performances from City has seen them hovering close to the relegation zone and pressure has already increased on manager Mark Hughes to improve the results if he is to remain in the job.
