Chelsea have slowly but steadily rebuilt their title challenge under Avram Grant and find themselves just five points behind league leaders Manchester United, whom they are yet to play at home. The Blues have not lost a league game since October last year and have registered seven wins in their last 10 matches.

Though a European finish is still a possibility for Sven Goran Eriksson's side, they will have to snap out of their poor form and start collecting points on a regular basis if they are to overtake Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers in the league table.

Frank Lampard and Petr Cech should be available for selection after missing out the match against Middlesbrough last weekend while Micah Richards is the only injury concern for Manchester City.
