Everton travel to Macclesfield on Saturday for their FA Cup third round fixture confident of pulling off an expected win over the League Two side. Tune into the game in the members area on Live Sport Network, the leading source to catch all the live footy streams online.

Macclesfield progressed through to the third round after humbling fellow League Two side Port Vale 1-3 in the second round. Two goals from Francis Green and a late one from Martin Gritton secured the win for Macclesfield although Louis Dodds had put Port Vale on level terms for a few minutes.

 

 

Last season the Dons succumbed in the first round itself to Rushden and Diamonds by a 3-1 margin with Jackson netting a brace and Challinor scoring another for the hosts. Macclesfield replied through Gritton, but it was not good enough. Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has overseen a mixed League Two campaign thus far with his side in the mid-table position. However he will be hoping they can cause an upset or two in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile Everton have recovered nicely in the Premier League following a mixed start and can expect to win this one quite easily. Last season, the Toffees suffered an upset loss to Oldham Athletic by a 1-0 margin. McDonald scored the winner for the visitors in that game.

 

 

Everton will again be without James Vaughan, Victor Anichebe, Yakubu and Louis Saha for this game as they are all suffering from long-term injuries. However Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini have been terrific for the Toffees and manager David Moyes will hope they continue the good work. Moyes may be in a dilemma or two after media reports indicated Mikel Arteta is a target for Arsenal in the January transfer window.
