The Hammers have won all three of their pre-season fixtures prior to this meeting against MK Dons. They beat Peterborough United 2-1 in their first friendly and followed it up with a 2-0 over Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.

West Ham’s last friendly was against Greek champions Panathinaikos in the Austrian town Kitzbuhel, which they won 1-0. New signing Thomas Hitzlsperger struck the only goal of the game against Panathinaikos.

Like West Ham, MK Dons have also emerged victorious in all of their friendlies this month. They have also managed to score three or more goals in each of those fixtures. Oxford City and St.Neots Town were beaten 3-0 and 3-1 respectively, while Kettering Town were thrashed 4-1. James Dance, Sam Baldock, Stephen Gleeson and Jermaine Easter were on target for the Dons against Kettering.
