OL needed a late goal from Bafetimbi Gomis to draw with PSG last week. The hosts took the lead in the 29^th minute through veteran Ludovic Giuly. The former Monaco and Barcelona winger’s initial shot was blocked by Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris, and the ball took touches from Peguy Luyindula and Clement before falling to Guillaume Hoarau. The tall striker’s effort was turned in by Giuly from close range.

PSG had plenty of chances to kill the game off, and were punished for their inability to do so by Bafetimbi Gomis. Gomis, a half time substitute for Cesar Delgado, slotted in at the far post after Aly Cissokho’s cross had been deflected by Lisandro Lopez into his path.

Toulouse picked up their second league of the win by beating Le Mans 2-0 at home on Sunday. Etienne Didot scored the first goal, firing past Didier Ovono to round off a great team move from the home side. Moussa Sissoko made sure of three points with his second half goal, again created after Alain Casanova’s men had strung together a series of passes to break their opponents down.

TFC are at home to Club Brugge in the Europa League after this game, while Lyon travel to Hungary to take on Debrecen in the Champions League on Tuesday night. In the corresponding game last season, OL beat TFC 3-0, with Jean Makoun and Karim Benzema scoring.
