November has so far not been a great month for OL. They started off with a draw against Liverpool, then drew against bitter rivals Marseille and strugglers Grenoble in the league before losing to Fiorentina in Italy. Claude Puel’s side are still just one point behind surprise leaders AJ Auxerre, but only three points separate them from eighth placed AS Monaco.

Cesar Delgado gave OL the lead in the 66^th minute against Grenoble, but Danijel Ljuboja equalised for the hosts seven minutes later. Ljuboja latched on to a pass from Alaixys Romao, and expertly controlled the ball before sending it past Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris.

Rennes picked up their fifth win of the season last week against Le Mans. Abdou Kader Mangane gave SRFC the lead by poking in Sylvain Marveaux' 10^th minute corner. Le Mans equalised early in the second half through Roland Lamah, who sent in a low shot from the edge of the area after collecting Anthony Le Tallec’s pass.

However Frederic Antonetti’s men had the last laugh when Ghana international Asamoah Gyan picked up Ismael Bangoura’s pass ten minutes from time and steered it past opposition keeper Didier Ovono. Rennes have a good record at Stade Gerland- they are unbeaten in their last four visits to Lyon. In March 2009, Jimmy Briand scored a late goal to cancel out Kim Kallstrom’s opener for Lyon. However Rennes have won only once on the road in six attempts this season.
