Lyon come into this game after a tough Champions League game against Barcelona. OL’s players will need to be physically and mentally strong enough; otherwise a slip up could see PSG leapfrog them at the top.

 

 

The French champions were knocked out of the French Cup by Lille, and lost to the same team in the league last week. Auxerre had their five game unbeaten streak halted by Rennes last week, as they lost 2-0 at Stade de le Route-de-Lorient. AJA are 12^th in the league currently with 31 points from 27 games, but are only five points above the relegation zone.

 

 

Polish striker Ireneusz Jelen has been a central figure in Auxerre’s campaign this season. The 27 year old is their top scorer this season, and has scored two out of their last five goals. Auxerre have struggled in front of goal this season, and they will look up to the likes of Jelen and Thomas Kahlenberg for inspiration against OL.
