After a disappointing start to the season, Fulham look to have found their stride and have collected 10 points from their last five matches. With manager Roy Hodgson looking to improve on the 17th place finish from last season, the Cottagers have started on a positive fashion and find themselves 10th in the league table with 17 points from their 12 matches played so far.

Fulham became the first team to defeat Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur last weekend with goals from Simon Davies and Andrew Johnson giving the Cottagers a 2-0 lead before Fraizer Campbell pulled one back for Spurs nine minutes from the final whistle.

 

 

Liverpool on the other hand will be hoping to keep up the pressure on Chelsea at the top of the league table and be in position to capitalize on any slip ups by the Blues in their match against Newcastle United.

Rafa Benitez's side have bounced back in a positive fashion following their defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the league with convincing victories over West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers and fans will be hoping to another victory on Saturday.

 

 

Fernando Torres should be available for selection this weekend but it remains to be seen whether Benitez will tinker with his strike pair with both Robbie Keane and Dirk Kuyt in good form. However captain Steven Gerrard is a serious doubt for the clash against Fulham with the England international suffering from a thigh injury.
