Liverpool vs ChelseaThe big match this weekend will kick off at Anfield on Sunday when Liverpool face Chelsea in their second match of the season. Having not played in the midweek due to European commitments, Liverpool will be looking to hand an early defeat to Chelsea in the race for the league title. With Liverpool winning 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round, Rafa Benitez will be looking forward to pitting his wits against Jose Mourinho as the two rivals meet for the first time this season. With Liverpool losing four of the six games against Chelsea, Benitez will be looking to set the record straight this season. Having complained often about Chelsea's spending power, Benitez has found himself spending far more than Mourinho this season. A win for Liverpool will not only give Benitez an upper hand over Mourinho at the start of the season, it will also provide a setback to Chelsea's bid to reclaim the Premier League title. Steven Gerrard will once again be the main man for Liverpool in the match against Chelsea. Being reverted back to his favored position in central midfield, Gerrard has looked a dangerous player against Liverpool's first match against Aston Villa, scoring the second goal for his team. Meanwhile Chelsea will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat when the two teams met last time at Anfield. The club has not lost a single game since the defeat at Anfield, winning 10 and drawing 5 in the process. Nearly all the main players will be available to play the match, but John Terry will be out for some more time. Chelsea will be keeping fingers crossed on the extent o injury suffered by Ricardo Carvalho during the match against Reading in the midweek. The kick off is scheduled at 16:00 (GMT).
