Bolton Wanderers will be looking to build on their shock 1-0 victory over Manchester United with another convincing performance when they visit Liverpool for their next Premiership match on Sunday.

Bolton notched up their first victory under Gary Megson with a brilliant performance against defending champions Manchester United last weekend and fans will be delighted by the level of determination shown by the players to hold out United's far superior attack at bay.

Anelka scored the only goal of the match early in the 11th minute as United struggled to overcome a resilient Bolton defense. The win lifts Bolton out of the drop zone and fans will now be hoping that Megson can steer the club further towards that top half of the league table. Ricardo Vaz Te, Heidar Helguson and Joey O'Brien have recovered from their injuries and will be available for the clash against Liverpool.

However they might find the going tough against a Liverpool side that is yet to taste defeat this season. The Kops look to have found form after a string of disappointing performances and have won their last two matches against Fulham and Newcastle United.

With the fans showing their support to Rafa Benitez in his tussle with the club owners, the manager will now hope to string together a run of victories if he is to enjoy the current level of support from the Anfield faithful. Liverpool are sitting fifth in the league table with 27 points from 13 games and could break into the top four if they manage to win their game in hand.

Yossi Benayoun remains a doubt for the clash against Bolton while Jermaine Pennant and Xabi Alonso are definitely out for at least another month. Liverpool had emerged comfortable victors in this fixture last season, beating Bolton by a margin of 3-0 and Benitez will be confident of repeating the performance.
