The Rovers have won four of their last six games to banish any lingering fears of relegation and manager Sam Allardyce will now be setting his sights on a top half finish come the end of the season.

Blackburn go into the match this weekend on the back of a comfortable victory over Bolton Wanderers with goals from Nikola Kalinic, Jason Roberts and Gael Givet helping them cruise to a comfortable 3-0 win. With Blackburn set to face Tottenham and Chelsea in their next two games, Allardyce will be hopeful that his side can secure at least one win in their next three games. Chris Samba is available for selection after completing his two match suspension while David Dunn has recovered from his calf injury and is expected to start after making it to the bench against Bolton.

Meanwhile Liverpool will be looking to return back to winning ways after collecting just one point from their last two games. The Reds followed up on their back to back wins over Bolton and Everton by suffering a disappointing defeat to Arsenal before managing a boring 0-0 draw against Manchester City last weekend.
