Aston Villa travel to Bulgaria to meet Stanmir Stoilov’s Litex Lovech in a first round UEFA Cup tie. Villa have a gruelling schedule – the game against Litex Lovech is their second in a series of seven that will be played in three weeks. Litex are currently first in the Bulgarian A PFG, with eleven points from five games. They drew 1-1 with Botev Plovdiv in their weekend fixture. At home, Litex have won both their league games, scored four and conceded none. Their key players include Brazilian Sandrinho , Bulgarian Ivelin Popov and French striker Wilfried Niflore.
