Spanish La Liga Live Week 6Watch Real Zaragoza v Sevilla Live Online
Sevilla play Real Zaragoza in their next La Liga match on Sunday and will be looking to come out of a losing streak that has seen them lose three matches in a row in all competitions.
After a near perfect start to the season, which saw Sevilla smash 15 goals in 5 matches of all competitions, Juande Ramos saw his side slump to a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in their Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium. The loss was followed by a fighting performance against Barcelona, which Sevilla lost by a margin of 2-1.
Sevilla's poor form continued with a poor performance in the 3-2 defeat to Espanyol, leaving Ramos with yet another defeat on his hands. The manager will have to raise his side's confidence ahead of the crucial Champions League tie against Slavia Prague if the team is to have any chance of progressing to the next stage.
Meanwhile Real Zaragoza will be looking to bounce back from the 4-1 thrashing by Barcelona with a victory against a team that is struggling to find form. Zaragoza went behind early on in the match with Lionel Messi scoring for the hosts.
Alberto Zapater put Zaragoza on level terms with a goal five minutes later. But the match went out of their hands as Messi, Iniesta and Marquez scored in the first half. Victor Fernandez's side was unable to come back in the second half, leaving Zaragoza with their second defeat of the season.
Zaragoza had won the fixture last season with a margin of 2-1 and Fernandez will be hoping for a similar result that will see the side crawl up the table from their current ninth position.

Watch Levante v Barcelona Live Online
Barcelona will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they face Levante in their next La Liga clash on Sunday.
After an inconsistent start to the season that saw them win just one of their opening three matches, Frank Rijkaard's side hit form with a 2-1 victory over Sevilla last week. Barca then thrashed Zaragoza 4-1 in their last match and are nearing their best that saw them win two consecutive La Liga titles.
However Barca have looked uncomfortable on their travels and have dropped 4 points so far with draws against Osasuna and Racing Santander, teams that the Catalan giants were expected to beat comfortably.
There have been signs of unrest in the Barca camp with Ronaldinho allegedly agreeing a multi million wage packet with Chelsea following a fall-out with Rijkaard. However both players and the manager have moved quickly and quashed the reports, stating that the Brazilian midfielder is injured and will be a part of the starting line up for the match against Stuttgart.
Meanwhile Levante will be looking for their first point in four games on Sunday. Abel Resino's side has got off to a disastrous start to the new campaign with four defeats in their first five games. Levante has now lost their last three games and are favorites to lose the game against Barcelona.
The side is now sitting rock bottom in the league table, four points away from safety so early in the season. With a tough set of fixture ahead, Levante must gear up for a tough season ahead which could see them stay in the relegation zone for some time.

Atletico Madrid will be looking to maintain their winning streak when they welcome Osasuna in their next La Liga clash on Sunday.
A poor start to the season saw Atletico start the season with a 2-1 loss to arch rivals Real Madrid. The result was then followed by disappointing draws against points against Mallorca and Murcia as Atletico once again had an inconsistent opening after a pre season filled with much promise.
Things began to improve for Javier Aguirre's side as they thrashed Racing Santander by a margin of 4-0 and followed it up with a comfortable margin of 2-0 against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday. Sergio Aguero continued his impressive form with a goal in the 12th minute before Diego Forlan completed the proceedings in the 78th minute.
Meanwhile Osasuna were up and running in the league with a thumping 4-1 victory over Levante on Wednesday. Walter Pandiani scored two goals for Osasuna while Juanfran and Javi Garcia were also on target.
The win lifts Osasuna to 11th position in the league table with 5 points from the first four games. With Osasuna's match against Sevilla postponed following the tragic death of Antonio Puerta, José Ángel Ziganda have a game in hand over other clubs around their position in the table.
Hugo Viana, Igotz Garde and Nacho Monreal remain a doubt for the match while Eduardo Dady has been declared fit.

Villarreal will be looking to maintain their position at the top of the league table when they face Athletic Bilbao in their next La Liga clash on Sunday.
A terrific start to the season has propelled the Yellow Submarine to the summit of the table with four wins of five games. Villarreal have now won 12 of the last 13 matches and the only defeat came in the 5-0 thrashing by defending champions Real Madrid.
However Manuel Pellegrini's side bounced back strongly after the defeat, winning against Mallorca, Murcia and Racing Santander. Kahveci Nihat and Giuseppe Rossi continued their impressive form up front, scoring one goal each as Villarreal completed a comfortable victory over Racing.
With Bilbao not exactly in their peak form, Villarreal are favorites to continue their impressive form with an easy victory in the match. However Pellegrini could be without the services of Guillermo Franco after the striker pulled out of the match against Murcia with an injury and was not a part of the line up against Racing.
Meanwhile Athletic Bilbao will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday. An indifferent start to the season has seen Bilbao collect 5 points from 5 games with two draws and one victory over Levante last week.
Markel Susaeta could be back for the game against Villarreal while Fran Yeste, Pablo Orbaiz and Igor Gabilondo are yet to recover from their injuries. Fernando Amorebieta could return after serving his suspension during the match against Levante.

Watch Recreativo Huelva v Valencia Live Online
Valencia will be looking to make it five wins in a row when they face Recreativo Huelva in their next La Liga clash on Sunday.
After a disappointing 3-0 loss to Villarreal on the opening day of the season, Quique Sánchez Flores' side have not looked back, chalking up four wins in the process. The excellent form has lifted the team to the 2nd position in the league, level on points with league leaders Villarreal but on a poor head-to-head record.
However while the team has had an excellent run in the league, Valencia are yet to dominate a match, giving the opposition a chance to bounce back at crucial times. With the supporters expecting the club to win in style, Flores will have a tough tie on hand when Valencia face another team who are on a good run of their own.
Meanwhile Recreativo Huelva are on a two match winning streak and will be looking to maintain it when they face Valencia. A poor start to the season saw Recreativo collect just 2 points from first three games which included a 4-1 thrashing by Sevilla.
However a timely return to form saw them squeak past Espanyol while they completed a comfortable 2-0 victory over Deportivo LaCoruna on Wednesday as Carlos Martins and Javi Guerrero found the net.
Recreativo had a comfortable 2-0 victory in this fixture last season and manager Victor Munoz will be hopeful for a similar result this time around.

Watch Real Betis v Mallorca Live Online
Real Betis will be anxious with the way their new La Liga season has shaped up so far as they have managed just two draws out of four games played so far. The team will be looking to register their first win of the campaign when they welcome Mallorca this Sunday.
Betis began the season with a 1-1 draw away to Recreativo Huelva and followed that up with a 2-2 draw at home to Espanyol. However they have suffered identical 2-1 defeats to Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia. They face Real Madrid in a tough game at the Santiago Bernebeu on Thursday as well.
However to be fair to Betis they are battling a number of injuries to key players. Arzu, Xisco, Nano, Babic and Rivera all missed Sunday's match against Valencia and as yet it is not clear if they will take the field against Mallorca at home.
Real Betis are languishing on the 18th spot on the La Liga tables with two points from four games.
Mallorca La Liga campaign has also been shaky. They began nicely with a 3-0 win at home over Levante, but were then held to a 1-1 draw at Athletico Madrid. Last weekend they lost a close game to Villarreal and were held to a 1-1 draw by Almeria. In the mid-week game against Valladolid, Mallaorca redeemed themselves with a fine 4-2 win.
Arango was in great form with a brace and their fans will be hoping he continues in the same vein. Mallorca are currently in the sixth spot on the La Liga table with eight points from five matches.
Last season this fixture was won 1-0 by the visitors, who will hope to repeat the same this time around as well.

Valladolid decent start to the 2007-08 La Liga season was abruptly halted by a 4-2 trashing away to Mallorca in their mid-week game. The side will be looking to bounce back when they welcome new boys Murcia to the Estadio Nuevo José Zorrilla on Sunday.
Although Ogbeche and Gutirrez scored goals, it was the defensive lapses that cost Valladolid the Mallorca game. Valladolid started the new La Liga season with a 1-0 win against Espanyol on the opening day.
They followed up the win by a 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna, but were beaten 2-1 by Valencia and subsequently held league leaders Real Madrid 1-1 before slipping up at Mallorca.
Valladolid have no injuries to worry of and are placed 12 on the La Liga table with five points from as many games.
Meanwhile Murcia have had a mixed start in their return to top flight Spanish football. Murcia defeated Real Zaragoza 2-1 in their opener and followed it up with a 0-0 draw at Levante and a 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao, but lost their next game 2-0 at Villarreal.
In their mid-week clash with fellow new comers Almeria, Murcia faced disciplinary problems of a massive nature. Two players were sent off after receiving red cards and consequently Gallardo and Regueiro will miss this all important clash against Valladolid.
Furthermore Carini, Torres, Maranon, Bruno and Garcia are not fit and are being monitored on a daily basis.
The last time these two teams met was way back in the 2003-04 season, when the game ended in a draw.

Almeria's fantastic start after their return to top flight La Liga football was crowned mid-week as they beat a 9-man Murcia side 1-0. A lone goal from Felipo Mele was enough to secure the three points as disciplinary problems beset their fellow new comers.
Almeria began their new Spanish La Liga season with shock 3-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna, but were trounced 2-1 by Valencia in their next game. However the team bounced back nicely to hold powerful Mallorca to a 1-1 draw last Sunday before winning their mid-week clash against Murcia.
Crusat Domene returned successfully after serving a one-match ban against Murcia. Saltor Grau and Gutierrez have been declared fit to play are likely to take the field against Racing Santander.
Almeria are currently on the 8th spot on the La Liga table with eight points from five games.
Racing Santander on the other hand have slipped up mid-week as they lost 2-0 to Villarreal at home. This loss compounded their misery as they had been earlier trashed 4-0 by Attletico Madrid.
Racing Santander had a dream start to their season as they held mighty Barcelona to a draw in their opening fixture. Subsequently they beat Levante 1-0, but have since then slipped up and are struggling to rediscover the form that took them to the 10th spot last season.
But Moraton, Navas and Valle Trueba continue to battle injuries, while Duscher will miss Sunday's clash after picking up a red card against Villarreal.

Getafe's miserable start to their new La Liga campaign continued as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Valencia in their mid-week clash on Wednesday. And as they welcome Real Madrid this Sunday, the team can only hope for better results.
Trashed 4-1 by Sevilla on the opening day, Getafe had managed to hold Recreativo Huelva in their second outing only to suffer a 1-0 loss to Espanyol and a -0-0 draw at Deportivo La Coruna before crashing against Valencia.
Michael Laudrup's men are involved in an early relegation dog fight and they are painfully aware of this fact even as they brave up to face the defending champions this weekend. Getafe are currently placed 19th on the La Liga table with two points from five games.
Real Madrid have begun the new season in spectacular fashion with three wins from four outings. Their perfect start to the La Liga season was marred by a 1-1 draw against Valladolid and they will hope to regain top spot when they face Real Betis tonight.
New coach Bernd Schuster has built a strong team, but has injury worries as star striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy is facing a late fitness test after he strained his calf muscle. Metzelder is also out with an undisclosed injury, but this game must not be a tough one for Madrid.
Last season Getafe managed to win this fixture 1-0, but Madrid will be hoping to set the record straight this time around.
