After knocking Sevilla out of the tournament, South Korean side Seongnam Ilhwa could add Juventus to their list of big name scalps when they take on the Bianconeri in Jerez. Juventus currently sit on top of Group A courtesy of their win over Sevilla. Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta were on target in the 2-1 win over Los Rojiblancos. Seongnam were in dreamland after their goalless draw against Sevilla. The K-League outfit were rank outsiders against Sevilla, who finished third in La Liga last season, but they managed to prevent the home side from scoring at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in difficult conditions.

Seongnam keeper Jung Sung-Ryong was an imposing presence between the sticks as he dealt with everything that Manolo Jimenez's side threw at him. Midfielder Lee Ho came closest to scoring for Seongnam, but his early free kick hit the post. New coach Shin Tae Young had promised that his side would not be pushovers, and by holding Sevilla to a goalless draw, they have delighted fans back home with their efforts.

Seongnam would have taken heart from their performance against Sevilla, and will fancy their chances of upsetting Juventus.
