Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara will be hoping to lift some pressure from his job with a comfortable victory over Napoli when the two teams meet in Coppa Italia’s Round of 16 clash on Wednesday. The Bianconeri are struggling for form in their recent games and pressure has increased on Ferrara to turn his side’s poor form around sooner rather than later. Juventus slipped four points behind second placed AC Milan after suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat against their title rivals.

The fans made their displeasure clear near the end of the game against Milan by booing the team and setting alight any item possible, including a few chairs. With Juventus already out of the Champions League, fans will be expecting a strong run in Coppa Italia and defeat on Wednesday could all but end Ferrara’s short reign as the Juventus manager.

 

 

Both Juventus and Napoli met each other in this competition last year with the Turin based club winning the quarterfinal clash 4-3 on penalties before losing out to eventual winners Lazio in the semi finals.
