The Bianconeri have lost four of their last five games and currently sit fifth in the league table with half of the season gone. Pressure is steadily increasing on coach Ciro Ferrara and the Juventus manager could be out of job if his side loses against Roma this weekend in spite of the board stating that they are not thinking of sacking the 42 year old.

Juventus put yet another disappointing performance as they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Chievo Verona last weekend with Gennaro Sardo scoring the only goal of the game midway through the first half.

Reports in the Italian media have suggested that Ferrara is just one defeat away from the sack with a number of high profile names such as Guus Hiddink, Michael Laudrup and Frank Rijkaard being named as the next Juventus manager.

Meanwhile AS Roma coach Claudio Ranieri will be hoping to heap more misery on his former club by collecting all three points on Saturday. Ranieri was replaced by Ferrara in the final stages of last season and the Italian coach will be keen to gain revenge by securing a victory and consolidate his side’s place inside the top four.

Roma go into the match on the back of a comfortable 3-0 win over Genoa last weekend with Luca Toni scoring a brace after Simone Perrotta had put Roma ahead early in the second half.
