Inter Milan have a six-point lead over their city rivals although they have played one game more. The Nerazzurri have had an indifferent season so far; a fact that was underlined by their 2-2 draw at Bari last week.

Milan beat Siena 4-0 last week to go second on the league table; six points behind Inter. Ronaldinho netted a hat-trick, while Marco Borrielo scored the other goal in that game.

Manager Leonardo will hope that Ronaldinho continues to display the same form. Leonardo has fitness worries over Kakha Kaladze, Marek Jankulovski, Filippo Inzaghi, Gianluca Zambrotta and Clarence Seedorf ahead of this game.

The Rossoneri will hope to close the gap at the top of the table and also avenge a 4-0 loss to Inter at the start of the season.
