Meanwhile Siena beat Palermo 1-0 last week to climb to the 14th spot on the league table with 43 points from 35 games. Emanuele Calaio scored the lone goal of the game, which was enough to dent Palermo's hopes of qualifying for Europe next season.

Siena coach Marco Giampaolo was delighted as his side preserved top flight status in style against Palermo. He will hope his side can perform creditably against Inter as well.
